NOTICE – MASK MANDATE

Crater will be requiring everyone to wear a mask at ALL athletic events, indoors and outdoors, regardless of vaccination status until further notice. Athletes will not be required to wear a mask when actively participating in their sport. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

WINTER SPORTS SCHEDULE 2021

Tryouts for winter sports begin Monday Nov 15, 2021

Girls Basketball: (Crater Gym) Monday 4-6 pm, Tuesday 6-8 pm, Wednesday 4-6 pm

Boys Basketball: (Crater Gym) Monday 6-8:15 pm, Tuesday 4-6pm, Wednesday 6-8:15 pm

Wrestling: (Crater Mat Room) M – F 4-6:30 pm

Swim: (Medford YMCA) M – F 6 – 7:30 am

College Signing Announcement

Marcus Reyes-Gentry will be signing a letter of intent with the University of Notre Dame on a swimming scholarship Monday 11/15/21 at 4:00 pm in the Crater gym lobby. Please join him to offer your support and congratulations!

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY STATE CHAMPIONS!

Junior Tyrone Gorze won the individual state title and Freshman Josiah Tostensen finished 2nd and set a state record for the fastest time ever run by a freshman at the state meet. Senior Tate Broesder finished 9th and sophomore Shaun Garnica 10th.

Boys – 5A District Champions

Girls – 2nd place at Districts

VARSITY CHEER ALL STATE CHAMPIONS!

5a All Girl Stunt Group 1st Place.

Elizabeth Thompson, Cami Goodwin and Jessalyn Magerle all made the All State team and Jessalyn won a $500 college scholarship! So far we haven’t been able to locate the last time someone from Crater made the Cheer All State team!!!!

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BASKETBALL NEWS

NOTICE!!!!

OSAA has CANCELLED the remainder of the State 5A Basketball Tournament. 

 

 

CONGRATULATIONS COMET BASKETBALLL!!!!!  Congratulations to our boys and girls for advancing to the  semifinals at the State 5A Basketball Championships at Gill Stadium in Corvallis. Our #5 ranked girls will take on #1 ranked Silverton Thursday March 12th at 1:30 pm  and our #3 ranked boys will take on #2 ranked Silverton as well Thursday March 12th at 8:15 pm.  GO COMETS!!!!!!

Table Rock Sports will be live streaming games on the NFHS Network. Fans can access the events at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/associations/osaa, it requires a one month $10.99 subscription (to NFHS not TRS) and fans can enjoy the games live as well as have access to all other State playoff games.
