They will host the 1st Round Playoff game this Wednesday, 5/25, at 4:00 pm vs. Silverton. Gates open at 3:00, Adults $8, Students $5. No passes are accepted. Congratulations to our varsity girl’s head basketball coach, Scott Dippel, on being selected the 2021-2022 OAOA Coaches “Meritorious Sportsmanship Award” winner. Scott was nominated by The Rogue Valley Basketball Association for this prestigious award on behalf of the Oregon Athletic Officials Association and was the winner among a fine group of candidates.

Congratulations to Crater swimmer Marcus Reyes-Gentry who took first place in the 200 Individual Medley this past weekend at State (2/18/22) setting a new 5A record and All American consideration.
In the 100 Backstroke, he took first place with a time of 47.45! A new 5A record and a new OVERALL STATE record by more than a second….and another All American time.
He will be swimming for Notre Dame next year. Congratulations Marcus!

JV – 1st Place
Varsity – 1st Place in 5A and overall Grand Champions with the highest score of all divisions (1A – 6A)!!!!
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY STATE CHAMPIONS!
Junior Tyrone Gorze won the individual state title and Freshman Josiah Tostensen finished 2nd and set a state record for the fastest time ever run by a freshman at the state meet. Senior Tate Broesder finished 9th and sophomore Shaun Garnica 10th.

5a All Girl Stunt Group 1st Place.
Elizabeth Thompson, Cami Goodwin and Jessalyn Magerle all made the All State team and Jessalyn won a $500 college scholarship! So far we haven’t been able to locate the last time someone from Crater made the Cheer All State team!!!!
