Congratulations to Crater swimmer Marcus Reyes-Gentry who took first place in the 200 Individual Medley this past weekend at State (2/18/22) setting a new 5A record and All American consideration.

In the 100 Backstroke, he took first place with a time of 47.45! A new 5A record and a new OVERALL STATE record by more than a second….and another All American time.

He will be swimming for Notre Dame next year. Congratulations Marcus!

Orange and Black Cheer Challenge at Roseburg HS 1-8-22

JV – 1st Place

Varsity – 1st Place in 5A and overall Grand Champions with the highest score of all divisions (1A – 6A)!!!!

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY STATE CHAMPIONS!

Junior Tyrone Gorze won the individual state title and Freshman Josiah Tostensen finished 2nd and set a state record for the fastest time ever run by a freshman at the state meet. Senior Tate Broesder finished 9th and sophomore Shaun Garnica 10th.

Girls – 2nd place at Districts

VARSITY CHEER ALL STATE CHAMPIONS!

5a All Girl Stunt Group 1st Place.

Elizabeth Thompson, Cami Goodwin and Jessalyn Magerle all made the All State team and Jessalyn won a $500 college scholarship! So far we haven’t been able to locate the last time someone from Crater made the Cheer All State team!!!!

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BASKETBALL NEWS

NOTICE!!!!

OSAA has CANCELLED the remainder of the State 5A Basketball Tournament. 

 

 

CONGRATULATIONS COMET BASKETBALLL!!!!!  Congratulations to our boys and girls for advancing to the  semifinals at the State 5A Basketball Championships at Gill Stadium in Corvallis. Our #5 ranked girls will take on #1 ranked Silverton Thursday March 12th at 1:30 pm  and our #3 ranked boys will take on #2 ranked Silverton as well Thursday March 12th at 8:15 pm.  GO COMETS!!!!!!

Table Rock Sports will be live streaming games on the NFHS Network. 5A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL GAME!!!!!

Congratulations to our Crater Comet Football team for making school history with a win over West Albany at the semifinals game Saturday night at Autzen Stadium and advancing to the State Championship game this coming weekend! This final game will be played Saturday Nov 30th at 5:00 at Roseburg High School.

Adults $10, Students $5

To purchase tickets online or get broadcast information please visit osaa.org. Tickets can also be purchased at the game.

We will be sending a rooter bus again, students need to sign up with the bookkeeper. First 50 students to return their permission slip and $5 will get a seat.

We will also be doing a fan send off for our team as they are escorted to the freeway, their bus departs Crater High School at 1:20 pm.

This will be a WHITE OUT game. GO COMETS!!!!

5A Football State Semifinals at Autzen Stadium

The OSAA and GoFan are working together to bring digital ticketing to our State Championship events. Spectators will now be able to purchase their tickets online anytime including the day of the event and truly skip the lines as they enter.  Purchase tickets by visiting https://gofan.co/app/school/OSAA.

There will be a rooter bus heading to Autzen Stadium on Saturday, 11/23 for the Semi Final Football game against West Albany. Cost will be $5.00 for the bus and $5.00 for the game (bring extra money for food). Permission slips will be in the bookkeeper’s office. The first 50 students that return signed permission slip by parent/guardian and pay the bookkeeper, will get a spot on the bus.  GO COMETS!!!

WINTER SPORTS SIGN UPS

All athletes must have a current sports physical and participation permit on file in the Athletic Office to be clear to try out. Athletic forms can be picked up in the Athletic Office or downloaded off this website, just click the link on the right hand side of the page that says “Athletic Forms.”
